In addition to the four standard attributes in the .pat
generated by Arcinfo, there are three other attributes: OWNER, STAT
and MANAGER. Below is a comprehensive description of the acronyms
and values used for each of these three attributes. This attribute
value scheme was developed by the FWS based on the surface
management status maps provided by BLM-Colorado.
"OWNER" values show if the parcel is privately owned, or managed
by the state or one of several federal agencies. "STAT" values
indicate the status of the land parcel, e.g., NGL = National Grass
Lands which are administered by the Forest Service. "MANAGER"
provides a more detailed description including the given name of the
land parcel, e.g., LITTLE SNAKE_RESA/_PVT = a private inholding
within the Little Snake Resource Area (BLM-administered land).
The attributes include the given name of the land area identified
on the map and the acronym for the land manager (e.g., PIKE_NF). If
the given name of the land area is not identified on the map, the
attribute will be only the acronym for the land manager (e.g., _NF).
